Okay i lied. Im not done. Cause just like when Datherine sank. I need to vent. But just ignore me, kay? lol So. I see lots of fellow Klaroline shippers liking the idea that; Caroline will fall “deeper” in love with Klaus!Tyler, and IF then, Klaus is returned to his rightful body (big IF, since technically it burned - but with this fucking show, who knows - the coffin didn’t catch fire, so its possible his body is okay and all)… Caroline will be all torn and shiz, bc she’ll realize she does have feelings for Klaus. And okay, as much as, if i wasn’t being the picky bitch i am, i would get on board with that sl, I don’t actually know that I could. Because here’s my thing. Sure this would be idea, Caroline seeing Klaus in someone else’s face - therefore being able to not constantly think about what his real!face is reminiscent of (all the bad things Klaus has done). But then, what i love so much about this OTP, would be gone… and yk what that is?
The juxtaposition to the story of Beauty and the Beast.
The fact that, I wanted Caroline to be able to see past Klaus’ rough, evil, rude, tempermental exterior and see him… REAL!Klaus for who he could be (or who he is, deep deep down in some surpressed layer of his soul). So THAT is my big problem with this sl. That as much as Caroline would see Klaus’ true self in Klaus!Tyler (if that even happens. rme) it still would lose the beauty of Caroline being able to TRULY see Klaus.
But most importantly, having Caroline bond with Klaus… without being REAL!Klaus, again, is just wrong imo. The beauty of Klaus’ multiple layers was the way JOSEPH MORGAN portrayed those layers. And no offense to trevino - but he just cannot pull it off. So it won’t be the beatiful friendship (that would eventually turn into romance) that I always pictured for this OTP. It just won’t be what it could have been. And this is what I always meant, about knowing Plec would never explore Klaroline to its FULL potential. And with if this storyline proves to be what people are spec’ing… it looks like I’ll be proven right. DEEP SIGH.
